Sistema Scotland’s purpose is to improve lives and strengthen communities through music and nurturing relationships. Working over the long term in some of Scotland’s most disadvantaged communities, we use our inclusive, immersive and free Big Noise orchestra and social programmes to support children and young people to realise their potential. The Big Noise programmes help to address deep-seated social challenges including low levels of aspiration, poor academic attainment, health and well-being inequalities, and lack of community cohesion.
